The check-in takes less than 3 seconds. Just open the app and tap — or use the widget right from your home screen. With Plus you can even check in by shaking your phone. Da. adapts to your rhythm, not the other way around.
Da. reminds you before the deadline. You can choose your time window freely, for example daily between 7 and 10 AM. If you haven't checked in during that window, you'll first get a reminder. Only when you truly miss it will your trusted contacts be notified — gradually, not immediately.
Your data is stored encrypted on servers in Germany. We do not share data with third parties, except with watchers you invite yourself. Our analytics are cookie-free (Plausible, Hetzner Germany). The app uses Apple and Google push services for notifications.
Not at all. Da. is for everyone who lives alone — students in their first apartment, professionals traveling for work, people after a separation or after moving to a new city. Everyone deserves someone looking out for them.
Check-ins are stored locally and sent automatically once you're back online. If you're offline and your time window expires, your watchers only get notified when it's clear you're actually unreachable — not immediately due to connection problems.
Yes. The Free plan is permanently free — no expiration, no hidden costs, no credit card needed. You can use Da. indefinitely with one watcher. An upgrade to Plus or Family is possible at any time.
